| Miraan has spent a wonderful year in Genie’s World. Though this journey was short, it was, no doubt, a memorable one. The initial fear of letting your precious baby step out of the warm and safe confines of the home on his own for the very 1st time was replaced with a sense of security in no time . His teacher Aakriti played the role of not only a teacher but a parent, therapist, nurse and countless other roles to not only our child but many children. She has played mediator in many life lessons he faced and helped him to be an independent child in many ways.
Good teachers like her are akin to angels who watch over our children and care about them when we are not around. These special teachers deserve our respect and appreciation and reinforcing their good work will inspire them to continue in their profession, inspire other teachers and generally keep the tradition of inspiring teachers alive.
Our heartiest thanks to Aakriti ma'am and all the other teachers of Genie's World for giving Miraan an opportunity to discover his unexplored talents and using them in the right direction and bestowing upon him the title of Master Genie’s World 2009-2010.
